Participants gain practical experience identifying respiratory hazards, operating positive-pressure supplied air systems, and applying respiratory protection procedures in real-world job scenarios.

Developed with industry input, this year's edition reinforces personal responsibility and aligns with Walk the Job, an initiative of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), as well as Responsible Care® from the American Chemistry Council (ACC).

 

Trainees must have successfully completed Safety Essentials (SE-SAFE) or Safety Essentials Español (SE-SAFES) within the past four years to be eligible.
