The Confined Space Competent Person instructor-led course combines classroom learning with hands-on activities to prepare trainees for work in permit-required confined spaces. Participants will explore OSHA standards for both the industrial and construction sectors, learn how to identify and control hazards, and understand the responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors. Practical exercises cover air monitoring, ventilation, lockout/tagout, hazard assessments, and compliant permit entry—equipping trainees with the skills to work confidently and safely in challenging environments.
